Editorial Policy

This page explains how Charlie Kirk Quote sources, verifies, publishes, and corrects the quotations and context notes on this site. We publish it so readers can judge for themselves how much confidence to place in what they find here.

Sourcing standards

Every quote we publish is checked against a primary or clearly attributable source before it goes live, which may include:

  • Video or audio recordings of speeches, interviews, or broadcasts
  • Official transcripts published by a venue, network, or organization
  • Books, columns, or other published writing
  • Verified social media posts

We avoid publishing a quote sourced only from a secondary aggregator when we cannot trace it back to an original recording, transcript, or publication.

Context notes

Where relevant, we add a short note describing when, where, and in what circumstances a quote was made. The goal is to reduce the risk of a quote being read out of context, and we link to the original source wherever one is publicly available.

Corrections process

When an error is identified — whether through our own review or a reader report — we correct the page and, for substantive changes, add a visible note indicating what was corrected and when. We take correction requests seriously and review each one against the original source before making changes. You can submit a correction request through our contact page.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t invent, paraphrase, or “clean up” quotes — quotes are presented as they were originally spoken or written
  • We don’t attribute a quote we cannot trace to a credible source
  • We don’t remove accurate quotes because they’re unpopular or controversial; we only remove or correct content that is inaccurate, miscontextualized, or improperly sourced

Independence

This site is independently operated and receives no editorial direction from Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA, or any affiliated organization. See our disclaimer for more on our relationship to the subject of this site.
